The Future of Energy Is Not Underground

DECARBONIZATION IN MOTION: MOVING FORWARD TO A GREENER, SUSTAINABLE FUTURE WITH ALTERNATIVE RENEWABLE ENERGY TO REPLACE FOSSIL FUELS.

ENVIRONMENTAL ONE-TWO PUNCH

Fossil Fuel-GHG-Waste-GHG Conundrum

DECARBONIZATION WITH eFUELS

The transportation sector is the largest contributor of GHG (33% in the USA). It is imperative to reduce transportation sector fossil fuel consumption to reach Net Zero GHG by 2050 goal. e-Fuel, a new class of synthetic fuel made by capturing carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide is a direct fossil fuel replacement to reduce GHG emissions. SSGT has achieved the theoretical limits of efficiency in converting waste to e-fuel.

Redefining the Circular Economy

SG Clean Energy

SG Clean Energy is committed to becoming a significant producer of clean and renewable alternative fuels from all types of wastes. Its activities will help reduce GHG emissions by replacing energy from fossil fuels while reducing the air, water, and soil pollution caused by waste for a true Circular Economy.

Committed to converting the Earth’s waste liability into a sustainable renewable alternative energy solution.

Why Waste?

As global temperatures rise and weather patterns become more unpredictable, causing frequent and destructive natural disasters, the world must move away from fossil fuels and unsustainable waste management practices.

Waste is both a source of GHG emissions and an energy carrier. With the right technology, energy from waste can be extracted to replace fossil fuel, 1 ton of waste ~ 1 barrel of oil, and effectively remove the waste as a source of GHG emission and pollution.

Sustainability Crossroads

SGCE DIFFERENCE

A Transformative Technology, De-linking The Waste-to-Energy Past

The waste-to-energy (WTE) is still largely based on a century-old, coal-to-steam-to-electricity technology.  SGCE is set to transform it. SGCE's modern WTE energy plants are designed with the most advanced, highly efficient, zero pollution, net negative carbon SSG technology to produce alternative renewable energy in the USA.

COLLABORATION

Our Industry Partners

Research shows that investing in sustainable waste management makes economic sense. SGCE aims to reduce the negative impact of waste by converting it to useful, green energy. SGCE plants will have the ability to convert many types of waste, from simple to complex, into renewable low and zero carbon fuels and electricity.

GREEN ENERGY OUT

"Wet waste, solid waste, and gaseous waste streams are potential high-impact resources for the domestic production of biofuels, bioproduct precursors, heat, and electricity. Wastes represent a significant and underutilized set of feedstocks for renewable fuel and product generation." EPA

WASTE IN

Our Products

SGCE plant design allows it to make energy in many forms, giving it flexibility to be responsive to the market dynamics. Here are some key potential products.

SGCE eFuels like green methanol, SAF, and hydrogen not only reduce carbon dioxide emissions when used as a transportation fuel but also be used as a feedstock.

Green Fuels

SGCE system is optimized to produce renewable electricity from waste with the highest efficiency, 1-ton waste ~ 1 MW electricity. This can be connected to the grid or microgrid.

Electricity

Chemicals like urea, ammonia which can be used as fertilizer as well as zero carbon fuel, and biochar are made in a net negative carbon process.

Human activities produce more than 51 billion tons of GHG in the atmosphere annually. Fossil Fuels account for 75% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, 90% of CO2, and many toxins and pollutants. (SOx, NOx).

Humans throw away 2.59 billion tons/year of things made with fossil fuels as waste. Only 6-7% of plastic is recycled, only 6% of food waste is composted. The rest is either incinerated or dumped in a landfill where it continues to pollute and emit GHG.
